The Intendu Platform was developed for cognitive training. Doing physical activity during cognitive training has been proven to enhance brain plasticity. Since the software combines motor activity it can positively affect motor function as well.
Of course! You can play the games using only one arm. You can also use the platform in order to practice the use of your weaker arm (following consultation with your therapist).
Of course! The game is designed to fit both walking and seating modes.
If you have a history of color blindness, please consult your physician or therapist before using the Platform. Your color perception can affect your ability to follow and participate in the Platform’s training games.
Impairments in memory can result from various causes, such as deficits in working memory and memory span, deficits in spatial memory, or attention. Different games in the Intendu platform focus on these various dimensions of memory such as the “Memory – List game” or the “Working Memory” games. Most of the other Intendu games also involve the use of attention and memory in addition to the main function they target, such as the “Planning” and “Initiation and Persistence” games.
The Intendu Functional Brain Trainer targets multiple cognitive functions and skills including behavioral control, initiation, response inhibition, shifting, planning, decision making, attention, and working memory. Training of additional cognitive skills will be added In the future.
At the moment the Intendu platform includes 15 games. More games are added all the time.
New game upgrades are included in all subscriptions and are automatically downloaded every month at no additional cost.

The Intendu Brain Trainer is being used worldwide by both individuals who are playing with it at their homes, and by multiple rehabilitation centers and hospitals, utilizing the Intendu solution for cognitive rehabilitation of their clients.
The Platform is designed for patients aged 13 years or older. If you are under 13 years of age please do not use the Platform. If you are between the 13 and 18 years of age, then you must review these operating instructions with your therapist, parent or guardian before using the Platform, to make sure that you and your therapist, parent or guardian understand these operating instructions and agree to them. A PATIENT’S THERAPIST, PARENT OR GUARDIAN MUST DETERMINE WHETHER A PATIENT IS PHYSICALLY CAPABLE OF USING THE PLATFORM
The Intendu Solution is currently available in English. However, aside from the instructions, most games don’t involve the use of a language. In the future, the possibility to use other languages will be added to the software.

Currently, we don’t have games training for impairments that are results of aphasia, but we will have in the future.
